The Loft Ballet Company is based at The Loft Dance Studio in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
Founded by Artistic Directors Fernando Palma and Ríonach O’Neill, the company was created to bridge the gap between recreational ballet classes and professional performance.
The company focuses on creating productions audiences genuinely want to watch while giving committed adult dancers the discipline, teamwork and thrill of performing as part of a company.
Our founding company consists of 26 adult dancers who train and rehearse together around their working lives. Through rigorous rehearsal processes and high artistic expectations, we provide a supportive yet professionally driven environment where dancers grow technically and artistically.
The December 2026 production is the company's first professionally produced season in Dún Laoghaire, marking an exciting new chapter in Irish dance.

Our First Season in Dún Laoghaire
In December 2026, 26 adult dancers take to the stage at Studio Theatre, dlr LexIcon for three performances of Don Quixote Suite & Thirteen.
This milestone production represents hundreds of hours of studio training, collaborative effort, and passion. Funded by the dancers themselves, local businesses, and community supporters, the inaugural season lays the groundwork for a permanent independent ballet company in Dublin.
